Astral Aquarius was pioneering when it launched in India in 2004 — the country’s first lead-free uPVC piping system specifically engineered for safe potable water distribution. Traditional PVC threaded pipe connections were notorious for joint leakage and reduced strength at the threads. Aquarius’s solvent weld system eliminates both problems.
The solvent weld joint chemically fuses the pipe and fitting into a single monolithic connection — stronger than the pipe itself, with zero leakage risk. Every Astral Aquarius fitting is precision-manufactured to the same lead-free uPVC specification for a perfectly compatible system.
